Here is a tutorial on making your own fun stylish holiday bow.
I used muslin, but I'm sure any material will do. Cut a strip twice as long as you want the bow wide. Add an extra inch to the width.
Next fold in half (this will be the approximate width of your bow)
Sew the side opposite of your fold. Leave an unsewn gap of about 1 1/2 inches in the center of your stitch line (to later flip inside out). To do this sew in from one side. Stop before reaching center. Flip fabric over & sew toward the center again, but leave the gap.
Now shift the material so that your sewn line is in the center.
Now sew the remaining 2 sides.
You have a sewn rectangle. Now use that gap to flip the messy edges inside.
Here is the pretty side.
Now get that glue gun out (reccommend low temp) and seal up the gap.
Hold the bow like this. I used floral wire, make a noose and secure it that way. Feel free to use thread, or anything that will hold.
Now get out that starch & make it strong. Allow it to fully dry. Took about 10 minutes outside in AZ.
I used a french barrette to make Tara's bow. Grab a clip and hot glue it on.
remove that center bridge if you are using a french barrette.
Find some coordinating ribbon and put a line of hot glue on your french barrette.
Wrap the ribbon around and make sure its tight and centered.
Cut your ribbon. I always seal with fire, then glue it down.
Add the bridge of the french barrette back on.
And here is the finished product...
